  • Good Lighting
  • Availability of auxiliary services like laundry , security etc
  • Good source or portable water supply
  • Large space for playground or parking of vehicles
  • Good drainage system
  • Neat sanitary system
  • Proper waste disposal system

 

 

Differences in The Housing Needs Of Rural Dwellers and Urban or City Dwellers 

  • Availability of land that can be use d for residential purposes
  • Choices of structure or types of designs
  • Prices or Cost of building materials
  • Accessibility to social amenities like shopping mall, primary health care or police stations
  • Proximity to places of work
  • Habitability which simply means that the place must be habiatable

 

 

The Fundamental Human Rights To Adequate Housing 

These are the fundamental human rights of every citizen to adequate housing that are enshrine in the constitutions of every country . Some of these fundamental human rights to adequate housing are

  • Protection from forceful eviction from someone place of abode
  • Protection from the the arbitrary destruction
    and demolition of someone’s shelter without prior notice
  • Right to dwell or live in any geographical location in the country
  • Protection from unlawful interference  into someone’s house
