1. The Call of the Disciples
- Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee when He saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and his brother Andrew. They were fishermen.
- Jesus called them, saying, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19)
- Immediately, they left their nets and followed Jesus.
- Jesus saw two other brothers, James and John, the sons of Zebedee. They were also fishermen.
- Jesus called them, and they immediately left their boat and followed Him.
- Jesus called these four men to be His disciples, to follow Him and learn from Him. They would help Him in His work of teaching others about God.
