Young farm animals should be given the best possible care in order to ensure productivity.

Here are some ways of caring for young farm animals:

Young farm animals should always be given balanced ration of feeds.

They should be vaccinated against infection and diseases

Veterinary officers should always be invited to visit farms to advise farmers on how to take good care of their animals.
