Continuous Tense 

Continuous Tense is used to express what is going on or what was going on during the time in question. Continuous tense may be either in present tense or past tense.

Present continuous tense is used to express action that is going on now.

Examples of sentences in Simple Present Continuous Tenses are 

  • We are singing now
  • She is dancing now
  • Daddy is sleeping now
  • Mummy is cooking now
