Personal Hygiene Care of the Body

Personal Hygiene means taking care of our body so that we are always neat and clean

Our body is made up of so many parts that we must take care of regularly

The parts of our body are

My head

My mouth

My nose

My eyes

My ear

My teeth

My fingernails

My hair

Care of my parts of my body to maintain personal hygiene

1. We must take our bath twice daily

2. We must brush out teeth twice in a day

3. We must comb or plait our hair to make our hair neat and well kempt.

4. Do not play with sharp objects

5. We must cut our fingernail short and neat everyday

Sing the song

This is the way I brush my teeth early in the morning

The way we wash our face early in the morning

The topic is presented step by step

Step 1:

The class teacher revises the previous topics

Step 2.

He introduces the new topic

Step 3:

The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise

The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.

The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.

He or she does the necessary corrections when and where  the needs arise.
