Content :

MEANING OF BONE

Bones are very strong . Your teeth are the extension  of your bones in your mouth .A bone is a rigid organ in the body that constitutes part of the vertebrae skeleton. It is the substance that forms the skeleton of the body.

For this lesson, we will define bone in very kid’s friendly way for easy understanding.

CLASS ACTIVITY:

Allow the kids to touch all the bony parts of their body. When they touch and allow them to tell you where they can feel bones in their body.

Ask them if those places are hard or soft. After this activity, you now give the definition of bone.

What are bones?

Bones are the hard parts of my body . My bones protect delicate parts of my body . The skull . The skull protects the brain . The ribs protect the heart , kidneys and lungs

Step 1:

The class teacher revises the previous topics

 

Step 2.

He introduces the new topic

 

Step 3:

The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise

 

Evaluation :

  2. What do we use our joints for ?
  3. What is skeleton ?

 

Conclusion :

 

The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.

The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.

He or she does the necessary corrections when and where  the needs arise.
