Meaning of Drugs

Drugs are medicine

Drugs are taken when we are sick

Drugs may be solid

Drugs maybe liquid

Some drugs are in powder forms

Drugs in solid forms are called tablets

Drugs in liquid forms are called syrups

Other drugs are in capsules

 

What is drug Abuse 

Drug abuse means taking drug without doctor advice

Drug abuse means that someone is taking drugs and he or she has not visited the hospital to see the doctor

Drug Abuse is a dangerous and deadly guess that involves someone taking drugs without doing all the necessary tests

Drug Abusers always take clues from friends and family .

They will say when I had this type of symptoms , I used this and that types of drugs , This is dangerous . Before taking any drugs , a medical practitioner must be visited and all the necessary tests must be done

 

Types of Drug Abuse 

Abuse simply means the misuse or bad use of something that is good .

Drug Abuse may be in the following forms 

Excessive intake of alcohol

Too much of salt consumption

Drinking palm wine

Smoking cigarette

Smoking weed

Unregulated drinking of local herbs ( Agbo)

Abuse of pain relivers

Taking of stimulants

Abuse of steroids
