What is traditionalist marriage ?
Traditional marriage is the type of marriage that is done in accordance with the native Norms, customs, culture and traditional. This type of marriage fosters cultural unity among the family members that are involved as members of the different cultural background come together during traditional marriage ceremony.

Oder of Events During Traditional Marriage
1. The bridegroom family members are welcome by family members of the bride. At times they are asked that what is the purpose of their visit to the bride family
2. Normal introduction and exchange of greetings and pleasantries are fine through the spoke person of each family. This person may be a male or female with sound knowledge about the event of the day. At times, they are called Alaga Ìdúró (Stand up MC) and Alaga ijoko ( Welcoming Guest MC)

Benefits Of Traditional Marriage
1. It fosters and nourishes our traditional Norms, customs and tradition.

3. There is this involvement of members of the extended family during traditional marriage. This fosters unity and love among family members.
4. It encourages large family. The more we are the better we shall be.
