The use of ‘in’ and ‘at’ ‘in’ in simple sentences correctly.

A preposition is a word that is used to show the relationship that exist between tow or more nouns or pronouns

 

The prepositions of location at, in, on are somehow confusing in usage when it comes to its usage  than basic position preposition.

Prepositions that deals with location are associated with specific types of locations, which must be understood.

 

The use of preposition (in)

It is used to refer to a specific point in time eg 

  1. i was born in 1982
  2. i saw him in April
  3. it rained in the evening
  4. The pencil is in the box
  5. am in school right now learning

 

The use of preposition (at)

It is used to refer to  or  express

  • specific location (e.g., “Mr Alabi Micheal is waiting at home for me “),
  • specific time (e.g., “The interview is at 3 P.M.”),
  • or a specific point (e.g., “The current inflation rate  is at 75 percent.”).
