What is the Internet? The Internet is like a big network that connects millions of computers all around the world. It’s like a big web of connections that helps people share information and communicate with each other easily.

Uses of the Internet:

  1. You can create an e-mail account to send and receive messages, just like sending letters but faster!
  2. You can chat with friends and family online, like talking on the phone but typing messages.
  3. You can listen to music or watch videos on the Internet, like having a concert or movie theater at your fingertips.

Benefits of the Internet:

  1. It helps us share information quickly, like learning new things for homework.
  2. We can use it for e-learning, which means doing schoolwork online.
  3. You can enjoy entertainment, like listening to music or watching cartoons.
  4. It helps students to study many subjects
  5. It helps in communication with other people in the world
  6. It makes shopping far and near a pleasure
  7. It makes doing business faster and cheaper, like buying and selling things without going to a store.

Abuse of the Internet:

  1. Some people use the Internet to trick others and steal their money, which is called cyber fraud.
  2. Sometimes, people post inappropriate pictures or videos online, like naked people, which is not okay.
  3. People might try to steal your bank details or personal information online, so we need to be careful.
  4. Minors may be exposed to porn or harmful contents

  6. Terrorism may be encouraged because terrorist use the internet or mobile phones to contact relatives of their victims
