A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun. Pronouns are used instead of nouns to avoid repeating the nouns in sentences all the time. Words often used in place of nouns are:

 

He,

She

His

Her

You

They

It

We,

Us

I.

 

Pronouns used for one person or things are, he, she, his, you, it, her, l and him.

 

We use he or him to refer to a boy or a man; while she or her is used to refer a girl or woman. It is used to refer to an animal, object or thing; l is used to refer to yourself and you to a person you are speaking to.

A pronoun is a word that can be used instead of a noun.
Pronoun are words like:
I, me, you, he, him, she, they, them, it, her.

Read the following sentences:
